Caroline Italia Carlson

ESCANABA — An Escanaba woman has been profiled in a graphics design publication.

Caroline Italia Carlson was recently the subject of an article in Graphic Design USA. Carlson is a marketing specialist at the Island Resort & Casino in Harris.

According to her profile in Graphic Design USA, Carlson has won awards in both graphic design and fine art. She is a New York native who began her career on the East Coast in graphic design and illustration. She moved to California where she worked in magazine and web design. She began to work in marketing when she moved to the Midwest in 2013.

She is also host of the Passionate Painter Podcast. Carlson also teaches art and design classes locally.
