Alyssa Guindon hired as client relationship manager

ESCANABA — Only two years after the Escanaba office’s grand opening, thanks to Mary Feuerbach MBA, SHRM-CP, PHR, Benefits & HR Consultant & Managing Partner, it welcomes Escanaba native, Alyssa Guindon, to the team. Alyssa is a lifelong citizen of Escanaba and has strong roots in the community and surrounding areas. She currently resides in Escanaba with her husband, Dylan, and two children, Crew and Graham, and plans to continue to build their lives here while remaining active and engaged with the local businesses and community members.

“There is no better place, in my opinion,” says Guindon, “Being able to have the opportunities for activities, leisure and also the workplace environment that we have in Escanaba is what makes our area stand out. I chose to stay local because of the people that live and work here. Because of the camaraderie that is constantly shown and because of the love that we all have for this town.” Giving back and making sure that testament is not lost is the reason she stays involved with community happenings. She has previously served on the Board for the Salvation Army and is currently active on the Board of Directors for Peninsula Federal Credit Union. Beyond that, for the past four years, she has been serving as the president of the Women’s League at the Escanaba Country Club.

“With that experience and knowledge behind her, Alyssa has a deep understanding of what the people in the area desire, and ultimately deserve, in both benefits and customer care. Employee benefits are an important piece of the puzzle to both the employers and employees in the area and by being cognizant of costs and offerings on one side and being compassionate and considerate on the other is truly what makes the difference,” the company stated in a press release. “Alyssa has shown superior advances and dedicated customer support in her first six months with Michigan Planners. In March, Alyssa successfully completed licensing with the State of Michigan for both health and life insurance and looks to bring that depth of knowledge back to the office’s clients. Outstanding service and a caring perspective is what drives Michigan Planners and is also what sets them apart from other agencies.”

“I am very proud to work for a company that not only cares about their employees, but also has that same consideration for the employers and employees that we serve. Health, life and disability insurance aren’t often topics people enjoy talking about or dealing with. More often than not, these benefits are in the background until the moments they are needed. With Michigan Planners, you can take comfort in knowing that those are the areas always front and center for us. We live and breathe benefits and are here to help in every aspect,” said Guindon.

Starting at $3.50/week.
