ESCANABA -- Michael Nardi CEO and the Board of Directors of Baybank announces that Mark W. Lektzian has been appointed as president of the bank and as such also becomes a member of the board of directors. Lektzian comes to the bank with a wealth of banking knowledge, covering 38 years of banking with a concentration in commercial lending and management, largely all of which is in community banking.
He is a graduate of Suomi College, now known as Finlandia University and Siena Heights University. Lektzian has served on the boards of many local civic organizations such as the United Way, OSF St. Francis Foundation and Community Advisory Boards, the Gladstone Housing Commission and is a long-time member of the Elks Lodge. He resides in Gladstone with his wife Tracy. Their two daughters Ashley and Elizabeth also both live and work in the area.
