ESCANABA -- During the month of April, Americans across the country join together to celebrate the invaluable contributions of community volunteers. Fortunately for us, the Delta County Ambassadors' volunteer spirit is observable all year. Year-round, members of this elite volunteer service organization can be seen meeting guests and welcoming them at various Chamber and community events.
Considered to be the hospitality arm of the Chamber, you will see them at ribbon cutting celebrations with their trademark giant scissors giving a red ribbon welcome and encouragement to members and their new business ventures.
Ambassadors represent the Delta County Chamber of Commerce in our community because of their commitment to and involvement in the Chamber. They are dedicated volunteers from businesses throughout the Delta County Area. Their mission is to welcome and nurture new Chamber members and act as goodwill representatives at various functions.
The Delta Chamber extends heartfelt thanks to our Ambassadors - the dedicated individuals who enthusiastically share their time and talent to help build a stronger community.
As active community leaders, they devote their time, knowledge, and experience to work for continued prosperity and business development in Delta County while conveying and encouraging a positive image of the Chamber.
If you are interested in learning more about membership in this fun, social group, please contact the Chamber. In the meanwhile, the next time you see an Ambassador at a Chamber event, please take a moment to thank them for their volunteer service. Cheer them on and recognize the valuable contribution they make to our waterfront community each and every day throughout the year.
