GLADSTONE — Marc Marenger, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Inc., Gladstone, Michigan was awarded the 2022 Distinguished Service to Agriculture award in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Feb. 3 for his many years of service and commitment to the growth of the Michigan Potato Industry.

Marc has served in the agriculture business since he started with the family business, Escanaba Machine Company in 1975. Then venturing off on his own in 1987 with Great Lakes Agri Service, selling potato equipment and specializing in potato agronomy and fertility. Servicing customers in Michigan and several other states. He sold Great Lakes Agri Service to Crop Production Services in 2014 which then became Nutrien Ag Solutions and continues to work for the company focusing on retirement soon to spend more time with his family.

Marc has always stressed how the support of his family, employees, and his many customers he has dealt with throughout the years has contributed to the success of the company.
