Column: Fire & Ice Fundraising Gala coming

ESCANABA — You’ve worked hard all year and now it’s time to reward yourself with some fun and a well-deserved break. Start the year off right by attending the Delta County Chamber’s Fire & Ice Fundraising Gala presented by Stewart Manufacturing. Fire and Ice: Under the Northern Lights, takes place on Saturday, February 11 at the Island Resort and Casino and offers an evening full of great food, prizes, and entertainment.

Fire and Ice attracts numerous guests who are there to have a good time and to socialize with friends and colleagues at the Chamber’s premier black-tie fundraiser. At the same time, they will be making important business contacts and gaining visibility for their companies.

Successful business owners know that often who you know is as important as what you know. The Chamber provides endless opportunities, such as Fire & Ice, to meet other members of the community, promote your business and develop long-term relationships. Every Chamber event, including Fire & Ice, is a networking event.

The Chamber works hard each year to guarantee an enjoyable night of friendship and fun. They believe a great menu paired with fabulous prizes and live music is a must! After guests enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by Island Resort and Casino, bid to their hearts content during the live auction, and celebrate the winner of the grand door prize, sponsored by Highline Internet, the only thing left to do is dance!

We are extremely grateful to all who contribute their valuable resources and prizes to this gala event. Before the night ends, more than $25,000 in prizes, all donated by very generous Chamber members, will be awarded to our guests.

To register for Fire and Ice: Under the Northern Lights and/or offer a donation or sponsorship simply visit deltami.org or call 906-786-2192.

A generously discounted room block has been set up at the Island Resort and Casino for event attendees who wish to spend the night. With a limited number of rooms available, it is important to make reservations sooner rather than later.

Fire & Ice provides the funding to carry out the community promotion and economic development programs of the Chamber. The “spirit” of our community demands a high level of activity for the coming year, and we need your continued support of our gala event.

We hope to see you there for what is sure to be an evening to remember!! For more information visit deltami.org or call 786-2192.
