ESCANABA — The Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and staff sincerely hope that you had a wonderful Christmas holiday surrounded by good friends and family. May the joy and happiness of the season remain with you throughout the New Year.

As we begin 2023, please include Chamber opportunities in your planning for the future. We encourage you to take advantage of the many benefits that your Chamber offers. Here are a few suggestions:

Plan on attending the monthly Business After Hours. This is a great way to make new contacts and talk with other businesspeople about shared opportunities and challenges.

Consider hosting a Business After Hours. This is an excellent way for you to showcase your business. Contact the Chamber for available dates.

Create more visibility for your business by becoming involved in one of the Chamber’s special events such as the upcoming Fire and Ice Midwinter Gala, Annual Dinner, Chamber Golf Outing, Lunch with the Governor during the UP State Fair, or the Delta County Century Ride.

Contact Chamber insurance providers to discuss new and improved benefits that may help improve your company’s bottom line.

Stay current on Chamber and community events by making the Chamber’s website, www.deltami.org, your home page, linking to the Chamber’s site, and taking advantage of Constant Contact email blasts.

Support your fellow Chamber members by conducting business locally and then encouraging your employees to use the Key to Success discount program. This is a special benefit that is offered exclusively to members of the Delta County Chamber of Commerce and their employees.

Consider sponsorship opportunities offered at upcoming events such as the Epson Tour – Road to the LPGA tournament at Sweetgrass, the National Trappers Convention, the Great Lakes Heavy Equipment Expo (Logging Congress), and the 2023 Upper Peninsula State Fair.

Finally, display your Chamber window decal with pride. It certifies your membership in Delta County’s leading business organization. Not only are you thanking customers for choosing your business, you too, will benefit from the added credibility and recognition that comes from your membership in the Chamber.

This is by no means a comprehensive list of the many opportunities that your Chamber has to offer – but it includes a few of the important ones that you may want to put on your planning list for the upcoming year.

Thank you for supporting the Chamber with the many endeavors and projects of the last year. We wish you peace, joy, and success as we say goodbye to 2022 and look forward, with hope, to 2023.
