GLADSTONE — Michael Nardi, Baybank president and CEO has announced the appointment of Ian Peltier as a commercial loan officer.

A native of Escanaba, Peltier earned his bachelor’s in business from Ferris State University and brings over 25 years of national business experience to this new role. Peltier began his career as a golf professional before transitioning to the business side of golf as a regional sales manager for golf apparel and equipment companies and eventually started his own national clothing line. After selling that company, Peltier spent seven years in sales, training, and management within the pharmaceutical industry, winning multiple regional and national awards before transitioning to follow his passion in real estate, where he started multiple companies, patented new construction technologies, and developed over $25 million of new construction. “I’ve been fortunate to be exposed to many facets of business over the years, including 20 plus years as an entrepreneur,” say Peltier. “I look forward to using that experience to support local business in my new role as a commercial lender at Baybank.” Nardi says he is looking forward to working with Peltier in continuing to service the commercial accounts at Baybank and to expand our outreach to new customers. Ian will bring a professional approach to all our customers with the wealth of knowledge he has developed with his past sales culture experiences.
