A ribbon cutting at the Morrison Shop celebrating new owner Nickie Lauerman on February 8 signaled the first ribbon cutting during the Chamber’s Centennial Celebration. The Morrison Shop under its current name has a rich history in Delta County. According to a newspaper clipping from April 17, 1950, the Reynolds Shop was sold and was ultimately named, The Morrison Shop. Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds opened the business in 1919, two years before the Chamber of Commerce was organized. We are proud for the continued membership of The Morrison Shop & Sassy Butterfly Boutique and happy to have them as part of our 100 years of better together.
