ESCANABA — Caterpillar Inc. announced Engineered Machined Products (EMP) has been awarded and recertified for the distinguished ‘Caterpillar Platinum Level Certification’ for supplier excellence.

In making the announcement, Irfan Mahofooz, supplier quality at Caterpillar, Inc. stated ”I am pleased to represent Caterpillar in recognizing the performance of the EMP Team in achieving Caterpillar’s prestigious Platinum Level Certification. We want to pass along our personal congratulations to the EMP Team on the achievement of this noteworthy recognition, which is Caterpillar’s highest global supplier rating for outstanding supplier quality.”

Accepting the award on behalf of EMP was Tammy Wolfe-Beauchamp, vice president of sales and customer account management.
