ESCANABA — The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 has forced most events that where scheduled to take place on the U.P. State Fairgrounds to cancel or postpone. One annual event that will not be disrupted by the pandemic is the fairgrounds winter storage event. Those individuals have until Sept. 30 to return those contracts with payment in order to secure storage space. For contracts sent in after Sept. 30 or individuals who have not stored units on the fairgrounds before but wish to will be put on a waiting list and as space becomes available they will be notified and a date and time will be assigned for unit drop off. Drop off and pick up dates have been established for returning customers starting on Oct. 12 and pickup dates starting April 22 of 2021.
