Elmer’s County Market received the Master Marketer Award for Best Radio Commercial at the UNFI National Grocery Expo in Saint Paul, Minn., on Aug. 1. The commercial starred part-owner and third generation grocer, Mike Dagenais, and his adult children who also work at Elmer’s, Jared Dagenais and Jalyn Dagenais-Gendron. The commercial was written and directed by Jalyn and produced by Mike Smith at Radio Results Network. The National Expo brings together retailers from across the United States and from 27 countries worldwide. The Master Marketer Awards are held every year and showcases the best-in-class merchandising and marketing ideas from UNFI retailers.
