Community Foundation for Delta County Board of Trustee Members, Mr. Nick Chenier and Mr. Brian Pahnke present a check from the Dr. Mary L. Cretens Endowment Fund as part of her annual distribution to Gladstone Senior Citizens Nonprofit Corporation President, Ms. Carol Lauscher and Treasurer, Ms. Linda Bradley in the amount of $7,232.60 to be used for Senior Citizens Programs and the Senior Citizens Center.
Dr. Cretens was a lifelong resident of the City of Gladstone, and she loved her community. She exemplified the Community Foundation's motto For good. For ever. such that, upon her passing she had her trust and philanthropic giving turned over to the Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula, to make her gifts to a number of organizations that she cared deeply about.
