The Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula, proudly announces a new fund established called the Alex and Barbara Chenier Endowed fund.
The purpose of the Fund shall be to award one (1) annual scholarship to a Delta Schoolcraft Intermediate School District (DSISD) graduate going into the trades, in honor of Alex Chenier; as well as an annual distribution to the Community Foundation for Delta County for their Human Needs Program, plus the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) and the Upper Peninsula Sustainable Forest & Wildlife (UPSF & W) Granting Committees for grants within Delta County only.
