Youth Advisory Committee awards grants
The Community Foundation for Delta County Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)
announces the recipients of their April 2026 grant round. The following organizations
receiving grants are:
– Delta County Sheriff Department — First Responder Autism Kits
– Pathways Mental Health — The Fresh Start Initiative
– Eskymo Blue Line, Escanaba Eskymo High School Hockey team — Ice Time in
support of Eskymo High School Hockey Program Practices and Games
– Escanaba Public Library — Inclusive Seating for Children’s Area of Library
– City of Gladstone Sail School — Gladstone Sail School Accessibility and Safety
Upgrades
– Dream Makers Children’s Museum ~ Dream makers Children’s Museum Launch
Infrastructure
– Northern Lights YMCA – Strong Kids Campaign/ Pool Project

Andzejewski and YAC Youth Advisor, Mr. David Radloff stated, “The foundation’s
Youth Advisory Committee is made up of a bunch of very impressive young adults that
want to help make a difference. They give-up of their time to make our community and its
residents a better place to learn, play and live.”
Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Co-Chair Mrs. Diana Clark announced the Fall
2026 grant round will “open” on Friday, August 28″, 2026, and all grant application
requests and requirements must be received by 3:30 P.M. (EST) on Thursday, October 1*,
2026, in order to be considered. Individuals and service clubs do not qualify for grant
funds”.
