ESCANABA — Businesses in downtown Escanaba are helping to celebrate Mom in a big way during Spoil Mom Week in Escanaba.

From May 3 through May 10, businesses along Ludington Street are coming together for a week-long celebration filled with special offers, unique gifts, dining experiences, and giveaways designed to help you treat the mothers in your life.

Even with ongoing construction, downtown remains open and welcoming. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of city parking lots, sidewalks, and rear entrances at select businesses–it’s truly worth the walk.

A highlight of Spoil Mom Week is the grand prize drawing. Shoppers can enter at participating businesses for a chance to win a pair of 14-karat white gold martini-set lab-grown diamond earrings–totaling one carat and valued at $650–from Nyman Jewelers. Some of the businesses will also have their own drawing.

Throughout the week, participating businesses will offer:

– Dress Up, 1206 Ludington Street, is offering 25% off regular-priced dresses and shoes–perfect for finding a stylish gift or outfit for Mom.

– East Ludington Gallery, 1000 Ludington Street, will provide free gift wrapping and features one-of-a-kind items including wearable art, handmade jewelry, paintings, pottery, and locally inspired pieces.

– Eleven 10 Bistro, 1110 Ludington Street, is featuring Mother’s Day dining specials all week long.

– For the Love of Cupcakes, 807 Ludington Street, invites guests to enjoy sweet treats, purchase gift certificates, and enter a drawing to win a dozen cupcakes.

– Grab & Go, 922 Ludington Street, is offering lunch specials including double loyalty punches, a free dessert with meal purchase, and a gift card giveaway.

– La Cantina Mexican Restaurant, 1636 Ludington Street, will celebrate with Cinco de Mayo specials, a new drink menu, and Mother’s Day perks including a free flower and dessert for moms with entrée purchase.

– Leigh’s Garden Winery, 904 Ludington Street, is debuting its “Ludington Bloom” corktail at a discount, along with a free carnation for moms.

– Lisa Ann, 1305 Ludington Street, will feature 25% off storewide, with additional deals and a gift card giveaway.

Spoil Mom Week in Escanaba is one of several annual promotions organized to support local businesses and encourage community engagement in downtown Escanaba.
