Catherine and Jacob Cotton

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Catherine LeGault was wed to Jacob Cotton during a ceremony held on Jan. 7, 2023 at the Old St. Mary Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wis.

Catherine is the daughter of Tim and Nancy LeGault, of Gladstone. Jacob is the son of Barney and Christine Cotton, of Omaha, Neb.

The 2 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Fr. Timothy Kitzke. Readings were by Alex Eisenberger and Lauren Harvey, friends of the bride. A responsorial psalm was sung by Mary Beth Bergeron, aunt of the bride. Prayers of the Faithful were given by Jeremiah Sirles, friend of the groom, and Prayer to the Blessed Mother, “Ave Maria,” was sung by Dominic Alvis. Gift bearers were John Wolf, Patrick Smith and Peter Frei, friends of the groom.

The Maid of Honor was Catherine’s twin sister, Mary LeGault. Bridesmaids were Dayna James, Daniella Vaccari, Natalie Brahm and Andrea Durbin, all friends of the bride.

The best men were Jacob’s brothers, Ben Cotton and Sam Cotton. The groomsmen were Sam Dunbar, Spencer Edwards, Tyler Evans, Peter Frei, Seth Jameson, Spencer Long, Jake Long, Nick McDermott, Pete McGinnis, Bart Murphy, Jeremiah Sirles, Patrick Smith and John Wolf.

A reception was held at the Imperial Ballroom at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

The couple took a “mini-moon” to London, England, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The couple is planning a honeymoon to Italy in the summer of 2023.

The couple lives and works in Chicago, Ill.
