Kathryn and Kyle Closs

GLADSTONE — Kathryn Cattani became the bride of Kyle Closs during a 1 p.m. ceremony performed by Father James Ziminski and Deacon Bob Kostka, grandfather of the bride, at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone on Nov. 2, 2019.

A reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Terrace Bay Hotel.

Courney Delgoffe, a friend of the bride, served as maid of honor; Halie Falish, friend of the bride, was the matron of honor; and Shelby Gregoire, Kari Karkkainen, and Emily Crothers — all friends of the bride — served as bridesmaids. Flower girls were Jenna and Millie Sargent, cousins of the bride.

Cody Tackman, a friend of the groom, stood as best man. Chris Walters, Peyton Jurek, Bryce Wolf, and Luke Lueneberg, friends of the groom, served as groomsmen. Maggie Moore, sister of the groom, was usherette, and Nick Cattani, brother of the bride, was usher. George and Owen Moore, nephews of the groom, were ring bearers.

Katie is the daughter of Mary and Mike Cattani of Menominee. She is a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is employed with Gladstone Area Schools, working as a pre-K teacher at Cameron School.

Kyle is the son of Terry and John Closs of Gladstone. He is a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in business and finance, and a master’s from Colorado State University-Global in finance. He is employed with First Bank in Gladstone as a commercial loan officer.

A honeymoon trip planned for March to Jamaica had to be postponed to a later date. The couple is making their home in Gladstone.
