Kelly and Maxwell Westerberg

FORD RIVER — Kelly Jane Coyne became the bride of Maxwell Paul Westerberg during a 2 p.m. ceremony performed by Pastor Tom Otis at First Lutheran Church in Gladstone on Dec. 28, 2019.

Kelly’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Scott Smith of Gladstone and the late Doug Coyne, and Maxwell’s parents are Tom Westerberg of Ford River and the late June Westerberg.

The groom’s maternal grandparents are Sam and Gay Mills of Gladstone.

Maxwell is employed as a journeyman millwright out of Local 1510 union.

Kelly is the district nurse for Escanaba Area Public Schools and works at Drifter’s Restaurant in Escanaba.

Kelly chose for her attendants maid of honor, Rachel Coyne, sister of the bride; and bridesmaids, friend of the bride Erin Ballard, sister of the groom Mallory Westerberg, cousin of the bride Jaena Manson, sister-in-law of the bride Deanna Coyne, and friend of the bride Jammie Hernandez. The flower girl was Mika Taylor, niece of the bride.

Maxwell chose brother of the groom Riley Westerberg as best man and groomsmen, friend of the groom Nick Leisner, friend of the groom Rob Iverson, friend of the groom Sam Sauve, brother of the bride Michael Coyne, and cousin to the groom Jordan McKnight. Ushers were cousin of the groom Patrick Westerberg and cousin of the bride Jeremy Manson.

Following the ceremony, the couple and their families welcomed and entertained guests at a reception in the Island Resort and Casino.

After a honeymoon trip to Puerto Morelos, Mexico, the couple is at home in Ford River.
