Katelyn and Christopher Sedenquist

MARQUETTE — Ray and Cheri Liubakka of Marquette, along with Mike and Sue Sedenquist of Gladstone, are pleased to announce the marriage of their children, Katelyn Rae Liubakka and Christopher Thomas Sedenquist. The couple was united in marriage on June 22, 2019 at St. Pauls’ Episcopal Church in Marquette with Pastor Kevin Taylor officiating.

Katelyn chose her sister, Dr. Alyssa Anderson, as her matron of honor and the bride’s attendants included her sister, Kimberly Bancroft, and friends, Rebecca Taylor and Kelsey Huuki.

Christopher chose his brother, Michael Sedenquist, as best man and groomsmen included his brother, Matthew, and friends Griffin Curtis, Dr. Ian Cummings, and Anthony Alexander. Honorary ring bearer and nephew of the bride, Weston Bancroft, escorted the bride’s mother. Bailey Lamb, cousin of the groom, and Kyle Thompson, friend of the bride and groom, served as ushers.

Following the ceremony, the couple was honored with a reception at the Holiday Inn of Marquette. Katelyn is a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and is employed as a high school science teacher with the Appleton School District. Christopher is a graduate of Michigan Technological University with a degree in chemical engineering and is employed with Amcor in Neenah-Menasha as an R and D engineer. The couple traveled to Maui for their honeymoon and have made their home in Appleton.
