Laase – Derouin
BARK RIVER — Eden Laase became the bride of Bryce Derouin during a 3 p.m. ceremony performed by Justin Bloniarz in Bark River on Aug. 31.
Eden’s parents are Al and Kileen Laase of Grand Junction, Colo., and Bryce’s parents are Joe and Sandy Derouin of Bark River.
Bryce graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2013. He is employed by UPHS-Marquette.
Eden graduated from Gonzaga University in 2017. She is employed at Boomerang Retro and Relics in Marquette. Eden and Bryce are also sports writers and co-founders of theupbeatsports.com.
Eden chose for her attendants maids of honor Emily and Ellen Laase, sisters of the bride; and bridesmaids, Catherine Tran, Jeremy Franklin, Brittney Bulawa, Chelsey Burns, all friends of the bride, and Ellie Jones, the bride’s cousin, and Brooke Vermullen, the groom’s sister. The flower girl was Abby Burns.
Bryce chose best man, Nick Johnson, friend of the groom; and groomsmen, Devin Adams, Nick Burns, Michael Floyd, Erik Powers, Dylan Ranguette and Tyler Geary, all friends of the groom. Ushers were Ryan Laase, cousin of the bride, Dave Vermullen brother-in-law of the groom, Cody Polfus and Marvin Cherette, friends of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the couple and their families welcomed and entertained guests at a reception at the Derouin residence in Bark River
After a honeymoon trip to Paris, France, the couple is at home in Marquette.
