Stephanie and Michael Rudden

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — On Aug. 5, 2017, Stephanie Chu of Alexandria, Va., was joined in matrimony to Michael Rudden, formerly of Escanaba, at the Hilton Hotel in Old Town Alexandria, a beautiful and historic setting. The wedding was attended by family and friends traveling from throughout the United States and Canada.

The former Ms. Chu, the daughter of Quoc-Anh and Thanh-Tam Chu, is a 2003 graduate of Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, a 2009 graduate of George Mason University (BA in Theatre), and a 2017 graduate of Johns Hopkins University (Masters in Marketing). She works for Tech-Marine Business, Inc. in Washington DC, as a business analyst.

Mr. Rudden, the son of Rick and Patricia Rudden, is a 2003 graduate of Escanaba High School, a 2005 graduate of Bay College, a 2009 graduate of Northern Michigan University (BA in Secondary Education), and a 2013 graduate of George Mason University (Masters of Education). He works for Fairfax County Public Schools teaching high school math.

The happy couple honeymooned on a nine-day cruise, traveling through Bermuda and the Bahamas. After living for several years in Alexandria, the couple recently purchased a home in Lorton, Va.
