ESCANABA -- Employees are taking turns directing traffic as the Delta County Community Mental Health Center relocates into the expanded Delta County Service Center building at 2820 College Ave.

Standing in the center hallway, an employee equipped with a map of the interior points and shouts directions as needed to chair-pushing, file-toting, cabinet-carrying “worker bees.”

The whole building began to buzz Monday morning when moving trucks arrived with furniture, office supplies and an assortment of fixtures yet to be installed.

Staffs of Delta County Community Mental Health and Michigan State University Cooperate Extension Center expect to be settled by the end of the week.
