She painted windows at Power House Comics, located at 1320 Ludington St. Richards said she didn't know anything about the comic industry, but the owners and kids who frequented the store kept her informed on "who's hot and who's not." Richards said the only thing that really troubled her while painting was the kids who would huddle around outside with watch her work. "I get a little nervous," she said.
