GLADSTONE — Board Chair of the Community Foundation for Delta County Charlie Becker recently presented Father Jamie Ziminski of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone a check from the Dr. Mary L Cretens Endowment Fund. The check was for $775.

According to the community foundation, Cretens was a wonderful daughter and woman of good faith who wanted to make sure that upon her passing All Saints Catholic Church would have an annual Easter Vigil honoring her parents, Charles J. and Victoria Creten, as well as a birthday mass for each of her parents and herself throughout the year. It was important to her that during the Christmas season, a Mass honoring her belief and faith be done, as well as making sure that altar candles, wine and similar needs of the church were met.
