Holy Name to hold ‘Crusader Time Tuesdays’ for preschoolers and kindergarteners

ESCANABA — Holy Name Catholic School is inviting all area parents, grandparents, and their preschool and kindergarten-aged children/grandchildren to come to Holy Name, enjoy fun games, and learn about Holy Name’s preschool and kindergarten in a series of fun events called “Crusader Time Tuesdays.”

Starting on Tuesday, July 1 — and continuing on Tuesdays through July 29 — from 4 to 5 p.m., families are invited to come to the Holy Name Preschool Playground — located on the south side of the building at 409 South 22nd Street — for fun activities for their children, and to meet the Holy Name preschool and kindergarten teachers. In the case of inclement weather, the events will be moved inside the school.

Holy Name State-certified Early Childhood teachers will be present to supervise the children and coordinate games. The teachers will lead games and free play with the children. Parents are welcome to stay and hear from the teachers about all the school has to offer, with information available.

Crusader Time Tuesdays, for all area preschool and kindergarten-aged children and their families, will be on the following Tuesdays: July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.

“We invite all young children and their families to come to Holy Name and enjoy some fun activities, including a chalk and bubble station, sand box treasure hunt, and music and dancing. Parents and grandparents are welcome to find out what our school has to offer their children and grandchildren,” said Holy Name Preschool Director Brenda Adiska. “We want families to remember that they have a choice for their children’s education. Holy Name offers a high-quality, classical Catholic education for children in preschool through twelfth grade.”
