Top five graduates earn distinction at The University of Olivet
OLIVET, Mich. — The University of Olivet is proud to recognize the Presidential Distinguished Medalists for the Class of 2025. On that list is Keeley Angsten, a psychology major from Gladstone.
The medalists are the top five students in the graduating class based on cumulative grade point average (GPA) earned in all baccalaureate university courses completed at The University of Olivet. This distinction is the university’s highest academic honor, reflecting sustained academic excellence and a commitment to the values that define the UOlivet experience.

UW-Stevens Point honors students for scholastic achievement
STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,400 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.
The local students who were honored are Ethan Ives, Highest Honors, Bark River; Keira Maki, Highest Honors, Gladstone; and Danielle Lund, Honors, Gulliver.
Personalized certificates of scholastic achievement are sent to those who earned highest honors distinction.
Students named to dean’s list at The University of Olivet
OLIVET, Mich. — The University of Olivet congratulates the 364 outstanding students who have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester. With a GPA of 3.5 or higher, these individuals have distinguished themselves through hard work, focus and academic excellence.
Local students named to the dean’s list are Meghan Erickson, of Bark River, and Shaelyn Lampinen, of Rock.
