Brat and burger sale Wednesday

ESCANABA — The Annual Veteran’s Picnic and Escanaba Football Wall of Fame will hold a brat and burger fundraiser on Wednesday, June 25 at 11 a.m. in the Halbinsel Parking lot, 200 N 30th Street, in Escanaba.

Event is sponsored by the Escanaba Quarterback Club.

NARFE to meet by Zoom

ESCANABA — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1900 will meet by Zoom only at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 25.

Chapter members will receive the Zoom link by email. Members who are not on the chapter email distribution list and who want to receive the Zoom link and passcode should email narfe1900.scty@gmail.com.

Any active or retired federal employees are invited to attend NARFE meetings. Non-members are welcome as guests.

Community Blood Drive

RAPID RIVER — UP Health System will be hosting a Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, June 24 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, Rapid River. To schedule an appointment, call 906-449-1450. Otherwise walk-ins are welcome. Calvary’s is located at 10439 Wisconsin Ave. in Rapid River.

Dance in Rock

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 West Mapleridge Road, on Sunday, July 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be performed by Country Express. GLADSTONE — Gladstone High School Class of 1970 is having a 55th class reunion on Saturday, Aug. 23.
