Courtesy photo Trinity Lutheran Church, in Stonington, held a blessing of the quilts on Sunday, May 11, by Paster Melissa Salminen. The quilts will be given to St. Jude’s Adult Foster Care, Delta Schoolcraft Intermediate School District and to others in the community. The quilting group meets every Monday, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonington. The quilters love to make and give quilts to those in the community; if you know of a place or citizens in the county who could use them, you are asked to contact the group.
