Courtesy photo Gladstone-Rapid River Kiwanis Club President Alan Stotz and Secretary Ken Benson award the Gladstone-Rapid River Kiwanis Scholarship to Madison LaCrosse, a Rapid River High School senior and member of the Rapid River Key Club. The $500 scholarship is awarded annually by the Gladstone-Rapid River Kiwanis Club to a Key Club senior who has displayed outstanding qualities as a student and community member. The scholarship is used to help defray the costs of college or technical school expenses. The Gladstone-Rapid River Kiwanis Club meets each week on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Gladstone and would welcome any new members.
