YAP’s mission is to provide financial grants to teachers, support staff and community leaders working with school aged youth in Delta County. This past year over $20,000 has been distributed to Bark River, Escanaba, Gladstone, Delta-Schoolcraft ISD, Rapid River, Nah Tah Wahsh, and Big Bay students. Grants paid for shoes, hygiene supplies, music lessons, camp and conferences fees, communication devices, wheelchairs, musical instruments, sensory equipment, curriculum support materials, and more.
