GLADSTONE — The Gladstone American Legion will hold its last steak feed dinner until September on Thursday, May 29. The diner will be held from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Gladstone American Legion Post 71 building, located at 802 Delta Ave.
There is a cost for the dinner.
Gladstone Summer Reading Program
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library’s summer reading program, “Color Our World,” will run from Monday, June 2 through Thursday, July 31. This program is open to children and young adults ages 2 to 18 years old.
The library kicks off their program with a summer story hour on Wednesday, June 11 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children will enjoy stories, create a summer craft, eat a delicious snack and receive a goody bag.
For more information call 428-4224 or stop by the library to register and pick up a reading log. This story hour and the summer reading program is sponsored by the Friends of the Gladstone Library, local clubs and area businesses.
AmVets golf outing
ESCANABA — The AmVets will be holding a golf fundraiser on June 14 at the Highland Golf Course, starting at 10 a.m. The $60 per person entry fee includes cart and a luncheon. There will be prizes for longest ball and closest to pin.

St. Anthony pasty sale
ESCANABA — St. Anthony’s Church is having a pasty sale June 12 and 13. Pick up will be at St. Thomas Church in Escanaba. To preorder, call or text Debbie at 906-399-4259. Limited extra pasties will be available in the late afternoon.
Delivery will also be available to Escanaba businesses.
