Gladstone library summer hours
GLADSTONE — Starting Monday, June 2 the Gladstone Public Library summer hours are as follows:
— Mondays – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
— Tuesdays-Thursdays – 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The library will be closed Fridays.
Scout event planned
ESCANABA — The Hiawathaland District of Scouting America is hosting Spring Into Scouting, an event for families interested in learning more about Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA. Interested families may attend the event at the DNR Pocket Park in Escanaba or Lakenenland in Marquette on May 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be fun activities for all ages, and leaders from local Scout troops and Cub Scout packs to answer any questions.
Dance in Rock
ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Road, on Sunday, June 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Old Friends.
There is a door cost and a free-will donation lunch will be available.
For more information, call Lucy at 356-6459. All proceeds benefit the senior corporation.
Right to Life meeting
ESCANABA — A re-organizational meeting for Right to Life of Delta County will take place at Pregnancy Services on May 22 at 7 p.m. All interested persons are welcome.

DAV to meet June 2
ESCANABA — Disabled American Veterans Chapter #24 will conduct meetings at 7 p.m. the first Monday of every month at the Purple Heart Building, 1202 Sheridan Road, Escanaba.
