Escanaba Class of 1975 reunion letters
ESCANABA — On Sept. 27, the Escanaba Class of 1975 will hold its 50th reunion at the House of Ludington.
All classmates will be mailed a detailed letter regarding the reunion along with a short questionnaire that should be completed and return, along with the per-person attendance fee. The responses should be mailed to Escanaba Class of 1975 c/o Joni Elliott, 1116 So 14th St., Escanaba, MI 49829 by Aug. 1.
If any classmate does not receive this mailing by the end of May, call Joni at 906-786-8745.
Salad luncheon
ESCANABA — For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, the women of the First Presbyterian Church of Escanaba will be holding a salad luncheon this spring. The luncheon will be held on Friday, May 16 at the church, located at 819 1st Avenue South, with serving time between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Salads, deviled eggs, vegetable pizza, cucumber sandwiches, rolls and bars will be served. Absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door. To get tickets, call Kathy at 906-786-7030 or Sue at 906-786-2464.
Pasty sale May 7-8
ESCANABA — St. Thomas Church will be selling pasties on May 7 and 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. There will be no early sales. Pasties will be available with of without rutabaga.
This will be the church’s last pasty sale until September.
Escanaba American Legion meets May 5
ESCANABA — American Legion Post #82 of Escanaba will be conducting meetings every first Tuesday of the month at the Purple Heart Building, 1202 Sheridan Road, in Escanaba. The meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m.
