TOPS Club recognizes members’ successes

ESCANABA — The Escanaba TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) Club held the Annual Recognition Night on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 to celebrate members for their achievements in 2024.
The members which lost the most weight were:
Division 3 – 1st place – Jodi St. John, 2nd place – Robin Custance
Division 4 – 1st place – Lynne Magnuson
Anita Kositzky was recognized for 15 years membership in the club.
Tops with most consecutive weight losses were Robin Custance with 10 weeks, Kristine Gallant and Lynn Magnuson with 7 weeks each.
KOPS (keep off pounds sensibly) are the members that achieve their weight loss goal and stay within 7 pounds under or 3 pound over their goal (called leeway).
KOPS recognized for staying in their leeway were:
3 consecutive months – Sandi St. Peter
6 consecutive months – Jean Anderson
9 consecutive months – Cheryl Larson
The TOPS members voted for the person admired most in 2025, and the winner was Jodi St. John.
As a chapter, 23 members lost 117.5 pounds for an average of 5.11 pounds per member.
