Supplies being collected for hurricane victims

ESCANABA — Wellspring Community Church is collecting supplies to support those in western North Carolina who have been affected by Hurricane Helene.

Pastor Paul will personally be taking the truck of collected items from Escanaba to N.C., where he once lived before coming to the Upper Peninsula.

The church is asking the community to join in supporting those affected by the hurricane by donating the following supplies: water, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels, non-perishable foods (canned goods, protein bars, and other items that don’t require refrigeration or cooking), feminine hygiene products, diapers, baby wipes, formula, and dry dog and cat food.

Donations will be collected at Wellspring now through Oct. 15. On Oct. 16, the truck will leave to N.C.

Anyone who would prefer to donate money should visit wellspring906.com/give and select “Hurricane Relief.” Anyone interested in going with the truck to N.C. is asked to message Pastor Paul privately.

Starting at $2.99/week.
