ESCANABA — The Escanaba Amvets will be hosting live music by The Grand Design Band on Friday Sept. 27 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Genealogical society to meet Monday

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Delta County Genealogical Society will be Monday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m. in room 961 of the Joseph Heirman University Center Building at Bay College in Escanaba. The speaker will be Delta County Clerk  Nancy Hanson Przewrocki, and she will be speaking on the digital indexes of records at the Courthouse.

Taco Tuesday’s return

GLADSTONE — Gladstone American Legion Post 71 is restarting Taco Tuesdays on Sept. 17 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The Legion is also seeking volunteers to help with the meals. Volunteers do not need to be Legion members.
