Spaghetti dinner for Bob and Kaye Meyers

ESCANABA TOWNSHIP — A spaghetti dinner benefit for Bob and Kaye Meyers will be held at the Escanaba Township Hall (Flat Rock) on Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. A $10 donation is requested.

Bob has been diagnosed with lung cancer and funds raised are to be used for medical and travel expenses. There will be bucket raffles, silent auctions and a 50/50 raffle.

Democrats to meet

ESCANABA — The Delta Dems will meet Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the USW Hall, 1201 Sheridan Road, Escanaba. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Dems will also have a booth in the Ruth Butler building at the UP State Fair.
