Motorcyclists coming to Gladstone for PTSD

GLADSTONE — On Friday, July 26, more than 50 American Legion motorcycle riders are riding to bring awareness to service members with post traumatic stress disorder, commonly known as PTSD. They will be coming from Wakefield and stopping at the American Legion Post 71 in Gladstone for dinner and fellowship. The next day, they will meet up with the other 300-plus riders participating in the Hell to Paradise PTSD Awareness Ride in Newberry. From there, they will ride to Sault Ste Marie.

The riders will be coming in on Highway 2 and 41 from Iron Mountain, arriving at approximately 4:30 p.m. The public is asked to be mindful of the motorcycles, which will be traveling in groups for the cause.

The Legion would love for the community to come out and wave American Flags on Delta Avenue as the riders come into Gladstone on the way to the American Legion.
