WELLS — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52-week raffle for the week of July 15 is Joe Derkos of Escanaba, who won $100. This was week 50 of the raffle.

Genealogical Society to meet Monday at Bay

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Delta County Genealogical Society is Monday July 22, at 5 p.m. in room 961 of the Joseph Heirman University Center Building at Bay College. Bring your stories, research problems, and other items to the meeting. The group is planning to update its indexes and needs input.

WELLS — The winner of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church calendar raffle for July 15 was Sharon Calouette of Gladstone. Calouette won the $100 weekly  prize.

First UMC bake sale

ESCANABA — First United Methodist Church, 302 S 6th St., will be holding a bake sale on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pies, cookies, bread and more will be available.
