Township Association picnic canceled

WELLS — The Delta County Townships Association Annual Picnic originally planned for Thursday, July 25 at the Pioneer Trail Park Pavilion, has been canceled.

Blueberry Festival

ISABELLA — The Blueberry Festival will be held at the Isabella Community Hall on Sunday, July 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. The hall is located at Highway US 2 and County Road 495/LL Road. Available will be blueberry pie, cobbler, and buckle with ice cream. Also available will be music, basket raffles, 50/50 and a bake sale.

Democrats to meet

ESCANABA — The Delta Dems will meet Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the USW Hall, 1201 Sheridan Road, Escanaba. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Dems will also have a booth in the Ruth Butler building at the UP State Fair.
