Republican Party to meet June 20

ESCANABA — The Republican Party of Delta County is holding a regular monthly meeting on June 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in room 911 at Bay College.

Breakfast at Escanaba Eagles Sunday

ESCANABA — Escanaba Eagle Club 1088, located at 608 Ludington, will be serving breakfast on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 786-3451 after 4 p.m. for any questions.

St. Anthony’s pasty sale

ESCANABA — St. Anthony’s pasty sale will be June 13 and 14. Pasties are available with or without rutabaga. If you would like to preorder, call or text Debbie at 906-399-4259. Pick up is at St. Thomas church from 1-4 p.m.

Delivery is also available to any Escanaba business.

American Flag disposal

GLADSTONE — Do you have unserviceable, torn American flags? The American Legion Post 71 in Gladstone is currently collecting them for proper disposal. A container for flags in need of disposal is located outside of the post.

On Flag Day, Friday, June 14, at 6 p.m., Gladstone American Legion Post 71 will be having a “Dignified Disposal of Unserviceable Flags” at the Delta County Veterans Park, located across from post. You can either drop off your flags before then or bring them to the ceremony.

Bible school June 18-21

STONINGTON — Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonington will be offering a free Bible school program for Delta County children June 18-21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch, snacks, and transportation will be provided (details are currently being worked out).
