Sager recognized by Child Advocacy Center

Casey Sager

ESCANABA — The Delta Regional Child Advocacy Center would like to thank Casey Sager, member of the CAC’s board of directors for her work.

Sager is a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist who has been practicing medicine in the Upper Peninsula for nearly 10 years. She is a Michigan native who moved to Escanaba and began practicing community-based care after her residency. Recently, she started a new position with the VA as the first gynecologist hired to provide dedicated women’s healthcare to female veterans of the Upper Peninsula and northeastern Wisconsin.

When asked why she wanted to join the board for the CAC she said, caring for others and contributing to her community are two things that fuel her soul. These things, along with her desire to help advocate for those that cannot advocate for themselves, prompted Sager to accept a board position with the CAC.
