TOPS members recognized for weight loss

ESCANABA -- Escanaba TOPS Chapter MI0726 held its annual recognition night on March 26. The evening recognized members for achievements and goals reached in 2023.
Division winners for the most weight lost in 2023 were as follows:
Division 1 -- Barb Couillard
Division 3 -- Jody St. John (1st), Donna Gillespie (2nd)
Division 4 -- Pat O'Connell
In addition, Cheryl Larson received a 5 year pin, Jean Anderson received a 10 year pin, and Sonia Nelson received a 15 year pin.
The consistent losers in 2023 were Amy Skorupski and Lee Fossard. Noted for perfect attendance and being "turtled" -- stayed the same weight -- was Jean Anderson. Recognized for consecutive losses was Donna Gillespie. Voted most inspirational was Cheryl Larson.
Graduating to a KOPS was Noreen Corwin-Coates. Cheryl Larson was also recognized for achieving her KOPS goal in 2021, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic did not have a proper graduation until the March recognition night.
Volunteers recognized during the event for contributing and going above and beyond for the club were Roxanne and Lee Frossard, Kristine Gallant, and Lori Magnuson.
KOPS that stayed at or below their goal for one calendar year were Kean Anderson and Cheryl Larson.
The chapter was recognized from TOPS International for being a chapter for 55 years. It was also recognized by Coordinator Sharon McWethy for taking fourth place in chapter growth in 2023.
