Spring Feast April 16

ESCANABA — Escanaba Schools’ Indian Ed Spring Feast honoring students will take place Tuesday, April 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Upper Elementary cafeteria

The school is located at 1500 Ludington St. Handicap access is on west-side doors (nearer to Ludington). Call Janine at 786-7462 ext. 2216 with any questions.

Trivia and Tacos returns

ESCANABA — St. Joseph & St. Patrick Parish, 709 1st Avenue South in Escanaba, will host a night of trivia and tacos on Saturday, April 20. Teams of two to six players can register beginning at 5 p.m., with the first round beginning at 5:30 p.m. Also available will be an all-you-can-eat taco/nacho bar.

Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place teams. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Genealogical Society changes location

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Delta County Genealogical Society is Monday, April 22, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at its new location at the Joseph Heirman University Center, room 961, at Bay College in Escanaba. Bring your research problems or other family history stories to the meeting.

Free concert Saturday

ESCANABA — The Remnants and Menominee River Chorus will be presenting “Spring into Harmony ’24” at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Escanaba, April 13, at 3 p.m. The event will be free to all. A free will offering will be collected for local charities.

Fundraiaser at Amvets

ESCANABA — The Sons of Amvets are holding a fundraiser on Saturday, April 27, to help pay for the chair lift that was recently installed at the Amvets hall for disabled veterans.

The Grand Design Band, along with the band JD & Co., will be performing for you on from 7 p.m. to midnight. A $10 donation will be collected at the door.
