Escanaba River Legion to meet in Arnold
ESCANABA — The Legion and Auxiliary of American Legion Escanaba River Post 115 will meet April 3 at 7:30 p.m. Due to the construction at the Escanaba Township Hall, the group will meet at the Arnold Hall.
Colorado Yoopers seeking nonprofits
LAKEWOOD, Colo. — The 23rd Annual Colorado Yoopers Picnic was held on Sept. 24 in Lakewood, Colo. Organizers are looking for Upper Peninsula nonprofits to send in donation requests for the picnic in 2024.

Families Against Narcotics set schedule
ESCANABA — Do you or a loved one suffer from the disease of addiction? If you are looking for support, guidance, or just making connections with others who are struggling with addiction or its impact, you are welcome at Families Against Narcotics meetings.
The meetings are held and second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Northern Lights YMCA building, located at 200 N. 30th St., in Escanaba.

St. Anthony’s pasty sale planned for April 12
ESCANABA — St. Anthony’s pasty sale is set for April 11 and April 12. Pick up will be at St. Thomas Church in Escanaba from noon to 5 p.m. both days.
Pasties are available with or without rutabaga.
