ESCANABA — The members of the Past Exalted Ruler Association of
Escanaba Elks Lodge #354 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America have announced that Tonya LaFave, Lodge treasurer, has been selected as the “Lodge Officer of the Year” for the 2022-2023 Fraternal Year.
LaFave lives in Hyde, with her wonderful husband Todd (who is also a member) and their three beautiful daughters, Tatiana, Talia and Tessa. To finish off the household, Tatum and Tucker are their two German shepherds.
LaFave joined the Lodge with the goal of participating in Lodge activities. To attain that goal, Tonya became a Lodge officer shortly thereafter, and has served as the lodge treasurer for the past two years. She will now be serving the Lodge as the Esteemed Loyal Knight along with chairing the Sickness and Distress position.
“I would like to encourage members, new and not so new, to ask what you can help with. There are many areas that our Lodge can use help and often can be geared towards your interest and abilities,” said LaFave.
