Elks Auxiliary to meet

ESCANABA — The Elks Auxiliary will hold their March meeting on Thursday, March 7. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner to be served at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting to follow.

YMCA hosts NERF Night

WELLS — The Northern Lights YMCA is hosting a NERF Night on Saturday, March 9, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Hannahville Ice & Turf Complex located at 1647 17.4 Rd, Escanaba.

Boys and girls in grades 3 through 6 are welcome.

“The YMCA NERF Night is a chance for the kids to get together inside on a cold night and have some fun,” said YMCA Youth, Family, & Sports Director, Raquel Schon. “The YMCA provides the space, obstacles, coordination, and supervision. Kids bring their own NERF gear: guns, bullets — must be (foam) with rubber ends — vests, and goggles.”

Registration for the NERF Night is available at the YMCA, online at www.nlymca.com, or by phone at 906-789-0005. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for the general public. Space is limited.

Steak feed Feb. 29

GLADSTONE — American Legion Post 71, of Gladstone, will host a steak feed on Thursday, Feb. 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. The public is welcome.

Genealogical Society meeting Monday

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Delta County Genealogical Society is Monday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m., at the Family Research Center, 1021 S. 14th St., Escanaba.
