CRYSTAL FALLS -- This year the Iron County Youth Camp will be reintroducing the Iron County Band Camp Program as part of our summer schedule. Middle and high school band students will have the opportunity to study and learn music from some of the best instructors and musicians in the country.
Band Camp starts on Sunday, June 16 and runs through June 22.
During this Band Camp, students will complete over 60 hours of musical instruction in the form of full band rehearsals, sectional sessions, private lessons and clinics. Students will emerge with greater proficiency on their instrument and a greater appreciation and understanding of music and themselves. The Iron County Band Camp Student Concert will be held at the Forest Park Schools in Crystal Falls on Saturday, June 22 at 4 p.m. The students will perform musical selections that they have practiced during their week at Band Camp.
Middle and high school band students can learn more about Band Camp and register online by going to the campbatawagama.com/Band Camp. Registration forms can also be requested by emailing Brian Schulze at icyc@iron.org.
Confirmations to Band Camp will be made April 1. The Iron County Band Camp Faculty Concert will take place June 20.
