Scores of Escanaba Public Library books went on sale Jan. 8, 1993 at the Bonifas Fine Arts Center. The books were on sale for 10 cents to $1 each in the Bonifas studio. The sale, which took place when the library was still located at 201 South 7th St., was necessary to relieve some of the weight off the library’s floors.
